Truckee Real Estate Market Report – February 20, 2017

The Truckee and N Lake Tahoe Real Estate market has cooled slightly over the first two weeks of February according to my data here, but the reason in my estimation is that buyers are having trouble finding what they are after. I have been showing plenty of homes in Truckee, Northstar and Squaw Valley, and when inventory starts to open up later this spring, there will be a lot of pent-up demand. For instance, there is only one home for sale in Glenshire under $1,349,000, as the other properties are all gated and on acreage. There are only 2 homes in Prosser Lakeview Estates for sale too, and both of those areas are predominantly “primary” areas for locals.
